EKISTICS had a tradition of creating a custom Christmas Card every year, which was a great idea - sending our clients and partners a unique, personal card that highlighted a project from that year that we were proud of, in a light, seasonal way.
The issue was, they were designed with very detailed, elaborate, illustrations that took a lot of time to do properly, at an already busy time of year, for something that may not have had a huge 'payback'.
So I came up with an approach that satisfied all the objectives, yet was easier to produce, 'celebrated' the architecture a bit more, was more in EKISTICS' style, and all-over felt a bit more upscale.

I began by exploring what sorts of illustration styles were already in our toolbox.

And then researched how other Architectural + Town Planning Firms designed their cards.

and then came up with these solutions; cleaning up and simplifying existing elevation renderings, and then adding type, details and colour.
